It's kindof like playing hooky from work

Today and tomorrow I'm going to a seminar for Para-Educators to learn about kids with Mild/Moderate Autism.

And then I have to leave the seminar early tomorrow to go to my English class and turn in the rough draft of my second essay-- a Narrative essay.

Rainy Day

Yesterday was my better day. I found out that I am being kept on my job til Thanksgiving. Then, at that time, they'll decided whether or not to keep me again.

Today was different.

It rained. I don't like to get wet.

When I got to work I found out that today is/was Principal Planning Day for all of the 2nd and 3rd grade teachers. Which means that all the 2nd and 3rd grade classes had substitute teachers. Mix rain with a substitute teacher and you get an excited, noisy classroom of children that won't stay in their seats.

But then, I had just finished writing the rough draft to hand in to my professor for English 120, however I hadn't left my self time to finish my homework.

But when I got to my English class, I ultimately found out that he had rescheduled the rough and final draft due dates....AND would not accept the draft that I had hoped to hand in. I felt so humiliated.

Hope I can get everything done that needs to get done

This weekend I'm working on the rough draft of the 2nd essay that is due for my English 120 class.
It is a narrative essay. It's due this Thursday, but I'm going to try to get it in on Tuesday, so that on Thursday my professor can hand it back to me with all of his corrections and comments, giving me the whole of next weekend to work on my essay some more, before I hand it in on Thursday of that week.

On another note, my substitute job ends on Monday. The paper work is still going through so I may be off the job for a few days, unless I can just fill out a time card. But I don't know if that is an option, I'll find out on Monday.

"Hermeting" -- if that could be a word

Some days, like today, when I come home from work I just want to sit down and watch TV, or lay down with my cats Curious and Frisky, or just take a nap.

I want to just melt away from the world and forget about anything due for my English 120 class, forget about the Singles Social Group my church provides.

And then, I just relax.

until it's time to go to bed and repeat the cycle.

Scratch that.

Like a Blender

That's how I feel. Well like I'm in one. But not like anything painful, well except for these menstrual cramps.

I'll be at Vista Grande at least till October 15th. I think they're gonna hire me on for the rest of the year, maybe. Although they're gonna cut my 5 hours down to 4, but that kinda makes sense. At about 12-ish the kids go out to the cafeteria for lunch and I go to the staff lounge and have mine. Then, I forget when everyone gets back to class, but Seth just goes straight to Speech and doesn't get back to class till about 1:25 and then I leave at 1:30.

I'm there to help Seth, so maybe they might have me just go home when the kids go to lunch. I'll see what happens.
